We endeavour to make the transfer process as straightforward and stress free as possible. We provide new Landlords with a step-by-step guide and checklist and we are also able to provide you with template letters to notify your current agent. From here on in we will do everything.

Here is how it works:


  • You contact us to discuss transfer of management & if you wish to proceed complete and return our Terms of Business and our Instruction Form.
  • Notify your current agent of your wish to transfer the management (please check your agreement with them as a notice period may be due). Upon serving notice please give the agency authority for us to collect keys and any relevant tenancy and property related documents.
  • We will then contact your existing agency to arrange a handover of tenancy documents.
  • We will contact your tenants and arrange to visit them at the property to introduce ourselves and answer any questions they may have regarding the transfer in management. This will also give us an opportunity to address any maintenance issues and begin building a relationship with the current tenants.
  • We will ask your tenants to set up a new Standing Order for the rent.
  • Where possible, and if required, we will try to arrange signing of a new Tenancy Agreement. This will give us the confidence that the tenancy includes all of the required terms and obligations.
  • We will ensure the tenants deposit is transferred to us. It will be held in our Client Account and registered with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS). We will then issue the relevant Prescribed Information and Deposit Certificate to the tenant.
  • We will continue the ongoing management of the property.
